Secrets of the Tribe Kola Nut Tincture Alcohol-Free Extract, Kola nut (Cola Acuminate) Dried Nut (4 FL OZ)

Been a great supplement for me. Helps boost my energy levels without needing extra caffeine.

So far this is the best kola nut tincture I've found. It tastes great and is more concentrated than most of the other tinctures. It's a 1:3 menstruum, most are 1:4 or less.There is no alcohol, so I can use this in my sodas and it tastes great.The cost is very competitive. I switched over to this brand because of the lower cost primarily. When you factor in the fact that other tinctures are weaker, you realize you're saving a lot of money by using this brand.This tastes like concentrated kola nut tea.Note that sodas like Coca Cola used to have kola nut extract in them, mostly for the stimulant effects of kola nut, however they also had a lot of other flavorings, like lemon, cinnamon, etc., and so don't expect the kola nut extract to taste like Coca cola. There is a vague similarity at some level, but it's definitely not the same flavor.I primarily use this with Monin Sugarcane Cola Syrup to make my own homemade cola sodas. The kola nut extract adds a nice pleasant kick to the soda. I use 1 dropper per cup of soda if I'm having 2 cups of soda. If I'm having more I lower the amount of kola nut so that I'm never having more than 2 droppers of kola nut. 2 is plenty enough for me.

I expected this product to have a concentrated cola flavor and high caffeine content. It has neither, and is ineligible for returns.

I unscrewed the top and lo and behold, the dropper was broken almost all the way. Not using product because it probably has glass in it!
