Holds up to Chicago winter! *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2016* Great coat! Tested it out in the -5 degree Chicago weather yesterday and was very warm. The only parts of me that were cold were parts that weren't covered by the coat! It is comparable in warmth to a much more expensive Columbia down coat that I also own. Length is great, I am 5'9 and it hits my mid thigh and keeps my legs warm. It is also very cute and has a nice shape to it, I don't have to sacrifice style for warmth like I thought I would have to! I have not had any problems yet with it shedding feathers like other reviewers described, but I have only had it for a few days. Feather shedding is to be expected with any down coat though, so I'm not worried about it. It does run small, so if you are small or average build order a size larger than what you normally wear. If you are wider through the shoulders or have a larger build in general get 2 sizes bigger. I am 5'2, 120 lbs, average build and I got a medium. It would be 5 stars if it was just a tad wider through the back and shoulders but I'm keeping it, I just won't be wearing any really bulky sweaters underneath it. The hood is also mainly for decoration I believe, since it is enormous and covers my whole face! It's removeable though so I just zipped it off. The coat seems excellent in very cold weather, I am from Vermont and temps have been between 5-15 F since it arrived.
