I had the pleasure of trying this Earl Grey tea at a high-end tea house, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Tea is delicious!!

I was blown away by the number of great reviews for this tea. I've always drank Earl Grey, so the prospect of having a version of it that is even better really intrigued me. The price was obviously much more than what I usually pay for my standard tea at the grocery store, which only raised my expectations for this tea. I was so disappointed when I brewed the first cup. The taste was very mild, and I could not even taste the familiar bergamot flavor inherent to Earl Grey. The tea has a pleasant flowery smell to it, but unfortunately that smell did not carry over to the taste. I may try to brew it with a second bag of regular Earl Grey to see if things improve. I definitely regret my purchase though. Edit: I've decided to amend my review and bump it to 4 stars. I am doing so because I am evidently in the minority and I can't blame it on the tea. The issue very well could be that my tastebuds are more accustomed to the stronger flavor of the tea I've been drinking. I am also adding the star due to Art of Tea's superior customer service. They reached out to me when they did not have to. It is evident that they care about the quality of their products and the satisfaction of their customers. I would not hesitate to buy another tea from them.

On a recent trip, I randomly ordered this tea with very low-set expectations. The smooth velvety blend was such a pleasant surprise! As for pricing, it seems high to me -- especially for just 12 packets. So I won't likely order it again, but I'm enjoying each cup while it lasts.
