YakAttackVISIPole II, Light, mast, Floating Base, Includes Flag, MightyMount, and Hardware

They’re made of cheap plastic that breaks after a year. It’s embarrassing to spend this much money on something to have it last only one season. Poor quality, wouldn’t buy again.EDIT; After contacting yakattack they replaced the item.. review updated to 5 stars

I ordered this one thinking it collapses to fit into the flag that doubles as storage for the pole when not in use. However, This one DOESN'T COLLAPSE, it's one whole unit, which isn't as convenient to store as it would be if it folded up. The product it's self is great, and keeps me visible on the water to boaters and those obnoxious folks on jet skis that dont observe the state of Texas, 50ft rule. The light is nice and bright, left it attached to the back of my Catch 100 while I packed up in the dark, and had enough light to get things packed into my truck, then unscrew the pole from the mount and secure it in the pole bungee on the side of my kayak for transport home. The mount is good, but I have no hull access to the rear of the kayak so I use YakGear rivets to secure the mount over the included hardware

Initially, the light would not stay on when screwed down. I emailed yakattack who quickly identified the issue and sent me a replacement part. I called to confirm I was installing it correctly and immediately got connected to an actual person instead of a voicemail. The light then worked like a charm This company continues to live up to its reputation.

It's memorial day weekend. I had big plans to go catfishing after dark. I had my son bring my visipole to the lake. I opened the package, lo and behold there is no light. Only a flag, a pole and a mount. Super disappointed, several nights of catfishing gone

Well built Kayak Safety Flag n Light. Liked the Might Mount attachment. Easy to install and use. Provide extra safety with high visibility for other boaters. The pole is a 1 pc fiberglass rod so little heavy. A must buy if you have a Kayak.

This model is great! It is sturdy and replaces a competitor’s more costly lighted flag which easily shattered. Bonus points for Yakattack for providing mounting hardware so I don’t have to give up valuable gear track or rod holder space.

The product is just as advertised. It is exactly what I wanted. I am happy with my items. They work well on my SOT Yaks.

Product is great, but I ordered 2 and one of them was obviously a used and returned product. The other one is fine. Both are in good usable condition so I’m keeping them both. Not super happy about paying full price for used equipment though.
