Pretty Good Quality Considering
I've been a fan of Gila tints for many years. Its one of the things you can find at an auto parts store that actually works. Its relatively inexpensive, but adheres well and lasts for a long time if installed properly.I have never run into issues of fading or color change with this tint and it is easy to work with.

Poor quality tint looks blue.
Didn’t really expect much because of the price but if you don’t care about the color of the tint from the inside then this is for you

Great tint, dark, not complicated
The tint: 5% is pretty darn dark. In the day, no problem seeing out, and not much light comes in. Didn't notice much of a difference as far as heat blocking goes, but heat's only an issue in the summer. At night, it can present a small challenge on the darkest roads, but otherwise, I didn't have a problem. It's like wearing sunglasses, at night, on your side windows.Don't know how to apply tint to a window, hoping someone will give some instruction? Willing to trust a stranger's way to do it, even tho I'm saying I may or more likely don't do it properly? The way I did it, and I'm certifiably not a pro at this, take the side glass out, even the pocket windows. Slight bit more of work but well worth it in the end. Once out, clean both sides of the window thoroughly and dry thoroughly. I'm lazy to an extent, so I bought the solution they offer. It's just baby shampoo and distilled water. But so easy to just buy it :) and one spray bottle will last for two 4-door vehicles' glass, no problem. Spray that stuff liberally all over the inside facing glass, and then place the sheet of tint, that you previously measured and trimmed exactly and just peeled the clear film from, sticky side down. Use a squeegee or something hard plastic without sharp edges to smooth from center out, pushing out the spray bottle juice. Once this is done, I used a razor to trim about 1/32" of the tint back from actual top of the window. Reason - so it won't have as much stress and rubbing on the window jamb from where and when it rolls up. Place the window, tint side up, out in the direct sunlight for a good 30-45 minutes. Past 45 minutes in the sun, and it should definitely be all dried. Reinstall your window, roll it up and leave it up for at least 24 hours, if you can. I'd definitely go at least 12-16 hours without rolling them down. Let the tint set. Bam. You just tinted your windows.

Not to bad
Honestly it’s a strong dark tint but it does leave a little blueish green look from a distance from the inside normally indicating it’s not the greatest material but it definitely does make my car look less of a fishbowl

What a waste
I am generally pretty good with stuff like this; I've painted both of my vehicles, redone the interior and I always do all of my own engine work. That being said, this was my first attempt at tinting my windows. What a waste of time! I followed the directions exactly and even purchased the application kit to make sure everything went well. The first attempt failed miserably, the tinting being so full of creases and bubbles that it was just shameful, and while attempting to re-stick the stuff, it ended up sticking to itself and turning into a giant mess. That's okay - there's enough for another. This time I took the glass out and laid it down so application would go better. This worked much better with far fewer bubbles of creases, but there were still enough that it looked stupid. The happy ending is that after two days I rolled the window down to go through a drive through and the tint fell off all by itself so I didn't have to worry about removing it.I gave this two stars because it does come as advertised - it's a good dark tint, does seem to reduce heat, and is pretty good about being scratch resistant and it's fairly cheap as far as tint goes. However, the application is not simple and probably not for the inexperienced such as myself. It was difficult to apply, kept sticking to itself, and fell off quickly. If you're anything like I am, you'll read this, think "This guy is a loser, I'll do a better job" and order it anyway. Do yourself a favor and buy several so you can practice and don't drive around looking like a d!ck. Better yet, save yourself the hassle and money and just take it to a professional, like I'm going to have to do now anyway.Good luck!

Watch the video
If you've never installed window tint or vinyl decals just watch the instructional video by Gila. If you follow their instructions you shouldn't have any problem getting decent results. It worked great for me.For the application solution just use a spray bottle filled with water (I used distilled water) and a few drops of Johnson&Johnson Baby shampoo. Some people use cheap dish soap instead of J&J, but degreasing agents can supposedly cause improper adhesion or reduced durability.I used an old silicone kitchen spatula with the handle cut off as a squeegee. Not the best device but it gets the job done for windows that don't roll down.

Effective but flimsy
I just applied this tint to my MKX the tint looks great and it gets the job done. The finish was smooth no bubbles and nothing major bad about the tint. The only thing is there is no roll inside which makes it very flimsy at times don't apply this in the wind lol. Make sure when you peel the second layer from from the tint and expose the adhesive immediately spray the solution onto the adhesive. If you don't and that adhesive touches anything while dry it will clang stick it like your trying to kidnap it.

Good tint for the price. But it is BLUE not black.
First of all this tint is BLUE! It is not black like the description. I was hoping it would at least be close to grey when I bought it. But nope, it's blue. The rest of my cars tint are grey and now my sunroof is blue. It's a thin material compared to the suntek brand. However it is easy to trim. Installation was also very easy as long as you wipe your window clean and then cleaner than clean, so that there's no air bubbles. It came out crystal clear. Overall I would recommend this product due to the price and quality. Now we'll see how well it does over time.

If you want a blue tint
Wasn't pleased with the darkness and blue hue for the 5% VLC coming throughout the window so ripped it off before the tint settled and got black tint from a shop

Totally disapointment
First you will loose 5" x 24" on it because of the tape they put to keep it roll way to sticky.Next extremelly difficult to separate it and also to cut it And I purchase a install kit. Finally got close enough to get one window done whit two boxes to realize that its almost a blueish color and I putchase 5% tint. Thanks to a Wonderful service by amazon they took really good care of me.
