It lives up to the 12 hour playing time meaning you can wear these all day and they will never need a charge, the bluetooth range is excellent and I never had any drop-out in sound while moving around within the range. They are comfortable to wear, the design and build is superb and best of all they are wireless, so there's no tangle. The only let down - and it's a big one - is the sound which is at best average.The Bluetooth connection is easily made, the controls are kept simple to an X and an O symbol, easily accessible on the right hand side of the wrap-around neck rest. Short presses raise or lower the sound, longer presses skip tracks forward or back. There's a | in the centre that pauses as well as being the button for setting up Bluetooth connection. Depending on your device/phone, it might take more than one go, but once it's paired it's there. I found the shape of earbuds a little tricky to fit without the right-hand side popping out now and again, and kept changing the size of the buds until I was happy. If you can wedge it to fit within the curve of your ear, not the ear canal, it can sit firmly and comfortably enough.The sound is adequate. It's a little bit boomy, but if you have equaliser functions on your device like the Dolby Digital app, you can improve the dynamic to an almost acceptable level if your listening to rock or popular music. If you are listening to anything with fine detail or reliant on atmosphere, it's not going to sound good at all. There is never a clean, pure natural sound and there are occasional crackles when the drivers can't handle the dynamic range. It's particularly noticeable deep booming electronic sounds, but pops can crop up even in quieter passages for some reason.As long as you are not fussy about audiophile sound.these can still be useful. For convenience, comfort, reliability and battery life, these are great, and tangle-free wireless is definitely the way to go. if you're on the move on a bus or train and want to block out noise, they block outside noise quite well, providing a reasonable sound for music that in most cases is going to be compressed and compromised anyway. Just hold down the Bluetooth button on the earphones’ neckband and then pair it up on your device (on an iPhone go to ‘settings’ then ‘bluetooth’).The flexible neckband slips around your neck, resting in place whilst the earphones extend from the front sides of the neckband, comfortably reaching up to your ear canals.The sound reproduction is pretty good, especially considering the very reasonable pricetag on the earphones. They’re not exactly audiophile quality, in fact far from it, but they do offer an all-round reasonable sound, with some good depth to bass (although not amazing) and not any tininess to be heard.Listening to some good old fashioned Death Metal, the earphones can handle the thundering bassdrum and ponding bass guitar along with the squealing guitars at the same time – although where tracks plummet to far deeper notes (say with some Doom Metal) then you’ll hear a slightly flatter, less bodied bass. There’s not really all that much of a natural warmth to the sound if you’re listening to acoustic tracks or some more slightly atmospheric music. But generally it’s not too bad for when you’re out-and-about and don’t care too much about the quality of the sound.Comfort-wise the earphones feel light and very, comfortable and very easy to wear. The silicone earbuds fit snuggly into your ear canal.
