Hinged Seamless WildKlass Jewely Septum Clicker Ring 316L Surgical Steel (Sold Individually)

Although I usually wear more fashionable clickers lately I missed wearing larger more industrial-looking rings on occasion and then I learned "septum adapters" are a thing, so I decided to stretch my septum piercing (losing versatility to wear more subtle and fashionable clickers for work, social occasions, etc. was why I never stretched my septum piercing beyond 12ga until now). I ordered the 10ga 12mm and 12ga 12mm "clicker" rings, both black. I haven't worn the 12ga ring yet but I have been wearing the 10ga ring since it came in. It closed very securely but I am able to open it without using a ring opener. I had to stretch my septum piercing from 12ga to 10ga with a taper (I've had my septum pierced over 20 years and never went beyond 12ga until recently) and with a little fussing (it is slightly larger than 10ga) I had the ring through and snapped it shut. It is comfortable and even when I clean the ring when I work it through while cleaning, it doesn't snag at all, and then I forget it's there - it's more comfortable than a 10ga stainless steel ring I tried previously even though when measured with a caliper this ring is actually slightly thicker (2.45mm for this black segment ring vs. 2.4mm for the noncoated stainless steel CBR). I haven't had the ring out since the day it arrived, so as a test while writing this review I opened the ring, removed it, reinserted it and closed it. I had no problems opening it and reinserting it through my septum, and did not have to use any tools. This means I can wear this ring to work and if I have any important meetings, etc. where industrial-looking septum rings are not appropriate, I can take it out on a moment's notice. I'm hoping the finish holds up... usually when I get body jewelry with a cheap finish wear is noticeable within a couple of weeks.. so I'll keep this review updated. :) I'm keeping this ring in for a couple of months then am aiming for 8ga.. unfortunately this isn't offered in an 8ga size. If they offered it in 8ga in 10mm or maybe 12mm I would definitely buy it! WildKlass, any chance you can source 8ga clickers in 10mm-12mm diameter? Please? :D Notes: I wish they offered a 12mm _black_ ring in 10mm diameter (they offer only the polished stainless in that size) I wish they offered the 10ga black ring in 10mm diameter (or smaller!) I wish they offered an 8mm black ring - preferably 10mm diameter (or smaller!), but I'd settle for 12mm

so i bought three of these and i LOVE them. my septum is pierced kinda low and i have a smaller button nose, so finding infinity hoops is hard, but i got the 6mm and it’s nice and snug. i also put them in both my faith piercings, and they’re all cute and comfy. they are a bit hard to open, but i like that they feel secure and i don’t have to worry about them falling out. i used needle nose pliers to open them and they were a breeze to put in. i attaches a picture of how it looks in my septum!

Material is exactly as described. I have very sensitive skin and eczema so anything that isn't surgical steel or very expensive gold causes a lot of issues. Most amazon products its questionable if it's really surgical steel until you actually wear it and hope for the best. This product is very good! I have been wearing it for days now to replace an old stud and my nose is not irritated at all. The clasp was not too difficult to open, but is firm enough of a close that I am not worried it will open while I am wearing it. It was very easy to clean (sterilizing pad was included with product!!) and insert, it is the perfect size for a comfortable loose fit for me for every-day wear. The 8mm was slightly too tight on my nostril and pulled at my piercing site, causing irritation. Shipping was extremely fast. I will buy from this company again in the future.

This is the second time I've purchased the rose gold in 14G (8mm) from this seller. As others have mentioned, the hinge can be a bit tricky. With the first septum ring (purchased about a year ago) I had trouble opening and closing it properly. It would eventually do both, but was a bit sticky. That said, I just received the second one (7/8/17) and had no problems. Easy to open/close. As for the finish, you get what you pay for. It starts out rose gold for a good amount of time and then eventually fades to a color that is more brass/gold. If you want rose gold forever, splurge and get the real deal.

I absolutely love this clicker! I’ve been wearing this as a septum ring every single day for almost 4 years and I’ve never had any issue with it at all. The metal still looks just as perfect as the day I bought it. In the past I’ve had issues with clickers, always with the clasps breaking down over time. This one is still going strong. This ring has survived two terrible bouts of COVID-19 and countless head colds! Opening and closing the clasp is very easy, but it stays put and doesn’t accidentally open when you’re scratching/blowing your nose. Very easy to take in and out. I absolutely love it. Best $15 I ever spent!

I have two of these, one black and one purple. The purple is lovely and the rings are good quality. The purple is a bit stiff to open and tricky to line up when closing it, but nothing that is a big deal. It takes me less than a minute to install. The black opens easily and closes correctly without issue. The seams are completely undetectable once closed. I am finding that I have pretty small ears, but the 12mm works very well for my conch piercings. I can also wear it in my upper helix, but it is a bit large, so I ordered a 10mm and an 8mm for my two helix piercings. I have very sensitive ears and my piercings are pretty new, but I don't have any issues with these. In the photo of the conch piercing, the purple ring is residing in a hole that recently had an allergic reaction to a different ring, so it doesn't look great, but this ring is fixing the issue.

I bought this several months ago and have kept it in since then. It's very comfortable and very secure, it can be a little difficult to get the smaller sizes (18g) to click, but the larger sizes (14g) are easy to open and close. The smaller size is also more difficult to open; when I need to remove it, I have to sick a pair of pliers in the ring and open the pliers so that the ring expands and comes unclasped. My biggest issue is with the sizing though. I ordered the ring in a 20g for my nostril piercing, but they sent me an 18g. The ring still fit me because I was sizing down from a 16g, but it wasn't the size I ordered. I actually didn't realize it wasn't a 20g until I went to a piercing shop to purchase a new nose ring and the piercer told me that the ring was an 18g. I like the rings, and they've gotten the sizing right every other time I've ordered from them, but just be aware that there is the potential that they could send the wrong size.

I've bought the 6mm 16g silver & black, and 8mm 16g & 14g silver and black. The 6mm overall are harder to open and close but the silver is significantly easier than the black. 8mms are a piece of cake, especially the 14g, it's very smooth. The overall quality is great and their customer service is fantastic. I contacted about the 6mm black not opening and they sent out new ones right away. I find the 6mm looks best for my septum to wear for a day or 2. I can fit 2 in there and it looks pretty cool. After that even with one in it made my septum pretty sore since it's probably too snug. They are also perfect for my tragus piercings. The 8mm is slightly large looking on my face but it's comfortable to be worn full time. I think if they came up with a 7mm it'd be the ultimate winner. Overall a great experience.
