Worked. Didn’t test the usb/presentation features. Put the pointer into my desk drawer. Tested again a day later on laser effect on certain surfaces and put it back in drawer. 2 days later pulled it out and the laser light no longer lights up. The presentation buttons still cause that blue light to indicate activity but the laser pointer functionally is dead. Though many battery but a new one shows no difference. The only guess I have is the internal circuit is very sensitive to vibration so that dropping the pointer 1 inch into a draws bottom over several days broke loose a bad solder joint or the laser diode failed. The quality of the electronics inside is this highly suspect. Returned for refund and will not use this style. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My sweetie loves me even more *by F***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2020* I know, one should never buy a technological gift for a wife. But my honeybun raves about the ease of using this in her speeches and presentations.
