0.5% Bromothymol Blue Solution, 30mL - The Curated Chemical Collection

I needed this item to get through an experiment that was in my daughters 8th grade science curriculum. I was worried that this may not work as intended since I don't know the quality, however I was very happy with this item and the science experiment worked as intended. I also have plenty to use if it's needed in the future. The seller did a great job of prepping it for shipping, it can without any leaking or issue.

This pH solution makes checking spa pH super easy! Instead of messing with comparators, I just drop a few drops right in the spa. As long as the drops stay blue, the pH is fine. Anyone who works with spas routinely knows that it's hard to get the pH too high, but the pH being too low is where the problems start. Highly recommend this solution!

It worked fine, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. The color change was noticeable, but the solution didn’t behave the way I thought it would in my experiments. It’s definitely functional, just a bit different from what I imagined. Not bad, just didn’t meet all my expectations.

Amazing to be able to get a chemical I needed overnight! I was thoroughly satisfied with the bromothymol blue I purchased and it was delivered quickly as promised.

It was supposed to be blue until students blew bubbles in to demonstrate carbon dioxide presence. We tried it in 25 different cups, and none of them worked. They all started yellow and stayed yellow.

Exactly what I expected. I can tell the chemical is fresh too otherwise it would’ve been green.
