Bauducco Panettone Chocolate, Moist & Fresh, Traditional Italian Recipe, Italian Traditional Holiday Cake, 26.2oz

I tried this for my first Panettone, and it was perfectly delightful. Delivered fresh and packaged to last, though I don't know how I got through more than a few days without devouring it all at once, except that I know they become hard to get and once I ate it all, that was it for a while. Looking forward to getting this again.

I love this Panettone!!! Some times it is offered by Amazon at a lower price of $7.75 as an "add on item", which is when I take advantage and buy 3 at a time (trust me you want to do this and not regret it) It makes me enjoy panettone as never before. The typical and traditional panettone has candied fruit bits which I really don't like. This one changed the candied fruit for chocolate chips, and it is much better FOR MY TASTE. I emphasize this because it's totally a matter of personal taste. On the other hand, it is incredible how it keeps its freshness for a long time. The first ones I bought were around Christmas season, which I believe is the time when people buy panettone the most. But it was so wonderful, I bought it several times after that and a couple were not extremely fresh, although still enjoyable. But if the texture is not absolutely like out of the oven, a few seconds in the microwave will make it take you closer to heaven. I was so hooked to this that I wanted to share my experience. I asked my niece if she liked panettone, and she was not to eager about it. I sent her a couple anyway and now she and her husband are as hooked as me. There is only one thing you should be aware of : It's so good it may become addictive!

Love it, one of the (many) things I miss from Brazil. However, I the prices are often inflated, would not buy above $10 each. Also be careful about freshness, it gets dry if improperly stored or near expiration date. It needs to be moist, otherwise, it is horrible.

I’m Brazilian and I’m used to have panettone for Christmas since I was kid. Considering that Bauducco is a traditional brand, I was expecting quality. Instead, the panettone is DRY, the taste is not the same (it’s BAD, I would say), and there is NO milk chocolate chips. ZERO. Why both the pic and the nutrition facts show consumers there area milk chocolate chips on it? FALSE ADVERTISING! I’m so disappointed :( If you are reading this, be aware. DON’T buy it.

My adult daughter had a slice of a similar panettone at her friend's house and asked that I get her a panettone in lieu of a regular cake for her birthday (December 22) - which has traditionally been a Boston Creme Pie. Since she loves chocolate, I choose Bauducco Chocottone. With no prior knowledge of panettones, I ordered Bauducco Chocottone based solely on the product description and price. What a fantastic surprise! It was so much better than I had expected. All of us devoured it. It will now become a Christmas staple and my daughter's go-to birthday cake.

not quite as moist as most panettone that I've tried, but I'm used to paying a whole lot more for the imported Italian holiday varieties available only at Christmas time. On the other hand, I wouldn't call them dry, either. Just slightly less moist than the really expensive ones. The cake part has that special buttery sweet flavor of panettone bread that sort of melts in your mouth, and the chocolate chips are plentiful and delicious. A real bargain and available year-round. NO RAISINS! (which is a GOOD thing - it's hard to find a panettone without the shriveled little grapes in it)

The product is the best, love this cake ❤️ The only issue is the size of the product but the Amazon fixed it.

The panettone box showed a few dents, likely from delivery & lighter packaging instead of a sturdier box, yet the product itself exceeded expectations. It was soft, moist, & fresh tasting w/ a pleasant sweetness much better than anticipated. With a 6 mth shelf life (expiring May 31, 2026), it delivered excellent quality & value. This was my 1st purchase & despite some negative reviews I had read, I’m glad I tried it. I would definitely recommend buying it again.

This is the third time I've bought this panetone. I dream about this delicious cake. And the price is excellent for such a good cake. The chocolate is nice and gooey, but not overly and I find it just the right moisture. Cannot recommend highly enough. I actually get sad when I finish one and hide it from my family.
