I bought it for my husband after reading the reviews. No chemical taste, but we did wash it first. It's a beautiful mug & he drinks coffee 2x's a day out of it. It's his new favorite mug.

These mugs are so nice! The mugs are wood and are good sized they're also very unique. My son in law was surprised that they were wood and absolutely loves them. The price was a little more but,well worth it for a different kind of gift. Well made not rough or catchy.

The mug is great, it’s perfect. Almost too perfect, I thought it was going to be a rustic wooden mug. Super nice, you can see the wood grain. When I tap it with my fingernails it feels and sounds plastic and it’s much lighter in weight than I thought it would be. But still super nice perfect mug.

The mug I bought is a Christmas present. Specifically for him to take camping so no fear of breaking easily like a ceramic mug. Also like the idea of the handle not getting hot or your lips burning like a metal one. I could not find any seams so I feel it's of a good quality. The opening for the handle provides the ability for a solid grip. The color and finish are awesome. I don't yet know about the durability but feel certain if cleaned properly it will be great .

Toxic petrochemical smell. Typical third world garbage made with no safety standards. Even after washing several times with soap and warm water, you feel like you're smelling paint remover. Add a hot beverage to it and it 10x the smell. Better of finding an American woodshop and commissioning a set from a hard wood like black walnut or teak. I felt I was literally poisoning my self after two sips of coffee and had to pour it out. Don't mess with my coffee in the morning. Returned the next day.

I got this as a gift for my bf after he had mentioned wanting one. He loves it. He uses it just about everyday.

Beautifully made, sized nicely, fits well in your hand………….novelty item cause the coffee gets cold really quick.

Strong taste of varnish/lacquer, especially if you use it with hot drinks. It poisons you, do not buy!

Easy to hold, light weight, looks pretty cool, wash by hand.
