These are top notch dried mushrooms. I've had this line of (Boroviki, Baravykai, Steinpilze etc, depending on language), and these are perfect. The price is realistic - this is what to erxpect today.

Expensive but worth every penny. Dried mushrooms are an important ingredient in the mushroom soup that is traditionally served as the first course in our Christmas dinner. Have tried lots of mushrooms over the years and these are by far the best.....tasty and succulent when rehydrated.

Liked the dried mushrooms and used them for mushroom soup on Christmas Eve.Would have led the crowns to be a little larger but definitely would buy again.

To my surprise, these really are just the caps and nothing but the caps of large boletes (the mushrooms that become porcini when dried), scraped clean of pores and strung on a cord as shown, and not a sign of a worm tunnel (quite a feat as the flies can get to the boletes before they're even visible, at least in my area). The flavor is perhaps a little milder than some porcini I've had but still very nice. I got them with risotto in mind, but there's a delicious looking soup recipe included -- if only I can get it translated from the Polish! Tip: Kitchen moths LOVE porcini! I keep mine in the freezer safe from moths and where any insect eggs that were missed will be killed.

This is by far the best quality dried porcine mushroom available online. Although expensive, I've never been disappointed with the quality and therefore don't purchase these from anyone else.

I used these mushrooms in a special Christmas dish. My family loved the robust flavor profile!

I use these Borowik mushrooms for a polish soup on Christmas Eve. The recipe was a handed down recipe from my Mother-in-law who has since passed on. I think of her with loving memories when making this soup along with perogi. I am Sicilian and she taught me to cook polish. The delivery of the mushrooms was fast and packaged very well.
