Although they do fit the can EOS M series of cameras, I don’t trust it enough any more. After a period time the camera eventually falls out the adapter. There is no locking mechanism to assure the camera is not breaking or slipping out of the adapter. I have caught my camera at least twice after it slipped out of the adapter. While in use, if you turn your camera to a certain angle the adapters just come off. Happily surprised that they fit my Canon EOS M and M2 lugs. I coudln't seem to find a Canon solution anywhere. Although these are slightly larger than the original Canon parts, they fit just the same. Initially it might look like the lug size on the camera may not fit, but the trick is to slip it through the hole in the back by keeping the lug strap adapter flat. Once in, it stays.
