Don't buy if you want a metal door bracket pulley system!
I was interested in purchasing a pulley set with a metal bracket to use for my home physical therapy exercises for a shoulder problem. In the product information this pulley set stated that it came with a metal door bracket or nylon strap so, I checked the questions answered about this product for further clarification. This question was asked and it stated that this product came with a metal bracket. So, I ordered this pulley set. At no point was asked which if I wanted the metal door bracket or nylon strap so I expected to receive the metal door bracket with my pulley set as stated in the questions answered. I was extremely disappointed when I received my pulley set today and it has a very short nylon strap. This is worthless to me. I can't use it because it's impossible to secure in the proper position with my shoulder problem.

PULL THIS! :-)
I bought this recently for me mums and she likes it. The artisanship is well crafted and so far so good. It doesn't cost a lot but still comes with a nice metal axle, nylon rope, and plastic handles. The only thing I didn't like and you can't complain at this cost is the fact that it doesn't have a metal hook to hook up to the door instead of the rope and it would stick up there better. But unless you're tugging on it like it's the last piece of cake it shouldn't present a problem. I'd recommend this for the price and overall quality. These are great for doing some physical therapy or you're just a sad, lonely, pathetic guy at home with nothing to do! bde bde bde that's all folks!!!!

Simple, Effective and Priced Right
What can one say about a product that consists of five parts. A polyester cord, 2 plastic handles, a short piece of webbing and a nylon and metal pulley except they work well together. My wife has acquired what's better referred to as a "Frozen Shoulder" and her physical therapist recommended they type of item to help her recover. From my 'research' it became apparent that the main challenge for this type of product is the pulley and it's ability to withstand continual pressure without disintegrating. That could still happen as she has only been using this for some 2 weeks, but I will say that the pulley seems to be fairly well put together. The pulley itself is nylon and the frame and axle are metal which is a good thing for this level of product. The cord seems plenty long enough and I do like the fact that one can easily adjust the working length simply by repositioning on each handle all without having to retie knots - nice touch. All in all a good product at a reasonable cost.

good price to performance ratio
For the price, this is a very sturdy and fluid pulley system for range-of-motion exercises. The pulley is well designed. It doesn't snag, nor is it flimsy. In fact, most of the pulley head is constructed of steel, enclosing a nylon wheel that rotates very smoothly. The over-the-door strap attachment of the pulley is suitably thick enough to stay lodged securely in place. A large interwoven nylon cord, in excess of 1/4" in diameter, adds to the sturdy feel of this therapy system. The black plastic hand-holds can be readily moved to any position along the run of cord, and they remain firmly where positioned. This makes for easy adjustments, to accomplish various routines in short order. I like this product a lot!

Great Value!
Had to use this pulley for 4 rotator cuff tears I had repaired.. Different brand than what Physical Therapy office was trying to sell me, but exactly the same, and for a much less expensive price. Have used for the last month and seems like it will stand up to many uses. The handles are plastic, but if you don't drop them they seem pretty heavy duty and should stand up for occasional drops that may occur.

Don't trust seller
If you have a decent house and you use on your door it will ruin your house and your door. The seller refuses to do return even though it was a Christmas gift

Good quality pulley at a very reasonable price.
This is a standard over-the-door pulley system to be used for stretching a tight shoulder. Works great for range of motion at the shoulder following shoulder surgery or for someone dealing with frozen shoulder. The pulley itself is very smooth and seems pretty durable. I've been able to apply a fair amount of tension on it without getting the feeling that it will give away. The handles are contoured and very comfortable. The rope is plenty long. In fact, it is a bit too long for most standard sized door frames. But this is easily fixed by tying a small loop somewhere in the length of the rope. You can also permanently shorten the rope by cutting off the excess at the end of the handle and then re-tying a knot at the desired length. But I wouldn't recommend such a permanent fix, as tying a small loop works just fine.No problem with the door holder slipping out at all.Overall, a good buy that is every bit as good as many of the more expensive models.

works well, as good os the physical therapist in-office version
This works well, as good os the physical therapist in-office version. It is quiet enough, smooth enough. The ropes are also long enough to hang this on the top of the door and sit on the floor to use them, no need to bring over a chair. The quality seems fine.

BEATS SURGERY FOR THE ELDERLY
I have A TEAR IN MY ROTATOR CUFF AND THE DOCTOR RECOMMENDED PHYSICAL THERAPY INSTEAD OF SURGERY. IT TAKES LONGER TO HEAL UP WITHOUT THE SURGERY BUT I AM 75 YEARS OLD AND THE DOCTOR THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE BETTER FOR ME. IT IS EASY TO USE AS I DO 60 REPS IN THE AM AND 60 REPS IN LATE AFTERNOON.

Durable, Easy to use & Effective
This pulley system is smooth, quiet, easy to "install" and adjustable - just knot the rope under the handle(s) to give you the desired length. My husband has been using this pulley daily for 2 months for rehabbing rotator cuff surgery and it is one of the most important tools he uses.

Good inexpensive door pulley
I purchased this pulley at the suggestion of my Orthopedic surgeon as I recently had total shoulder replacement done. I was using a similar pulley at the therapists and decided to purchase this one that attached above a door. It works perfect and is extremely cheap. Well worth the purchase.

Recommended for At-Home Physical Therapy
The BlueRanger Economy Shoulder Pulley was just what my husband needed for at-home physical therapy after healing from shoulder surgery. He had bursitis that had to be scraped away. The pulley helped him to regain range of motion and mobility. It was similar to the one used at the physical therapy facility. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a shoulder pulley for home physical therapy or for exercise needs. A pulley from our local pharmacy would have cost twice as much. This one worked perfectly.

Good PT equipment at a low price.
I bought this because my Physical Therapist had me use one at an appointment. I figured it was cheaper than getting one through the doctor. It has been much easier to keep my muscles relaxed while doing range of motion exercises.

Works, but I'll need the metal door bracket. ...
Works, but I'll need the metal door bracket. The door I pan to attach it to is opened three or four times a day, and the webbing door strap will let it fall at such times. The plastic bag is hard to open if you don't have much use of one hand, and are therefore likely to need it.

Works the same as the one in the therapy office.
Used for 6 weeks after suffering a broken shoulder. No difference in the quality of this one one and the one in the physical thereby office. Recommended
