We purchased the KleanKanteen brand metal straws with silicone top a couple of years back and over time they either split or started to gather mold on the inside even after cleaning. We almost discarded them but the thifty people we are, we found these replacements and decided to give them a try. I have shown photos comparing them to the lone KleanKanteen straw tip (the orange one) we have left to gauge the differences for yourself. The biggest visual differences are that the GF Design tip is more of a consistent width throughout, while the KK tip has a thicker wall in the drinking part. The GF Design straws fit the metal straw perfectly however and has almost a suction when put in place. One other difference from the KK is there is no notch in the inside silicone so it doesn't "snap" onto the metal straw the same way. This is more of a pressure fit. We thought it wouldn't work as well but it does. One perhaps unintended positive from the lack of the notch is that it's one less part inside the silicone to gather mold. So far, after 9 months these have held up to daily abuse from our children with no noticeable wear. They are easy to clean and remove and for the kids to use. Positives + Not having to throw away the old straws + Seal well on the metal straw and easy to use + Easy to clean, perhaps even easier than the KleanKanteen due to no notch Neutrals - No satisfying "click" when you put it on the notch like the KK. Some like me don't care - The wall thickness is thinner on the drinking side which makes it more flexible. Personal preference. Negatives - None

We have eliminated drinking water from plastic bottles so we use our stainless cups all day long. After a while the silicone straw tips wear out and should be cleaned or replaced . This set is well made and very colorful. It's a perfect fit for our cups so just measure your straw to be sure it will fit. It's food grade silicone which is very important. This is a very nice product and a good value.

Works well and holds up. Unless you have a cat that likes to bite them. That’s my issue and not an issue with the product 🤣

They are thinner and a bit bigger than my metal straw, but not enough to make them unusable.

I ve been using these for a few years. They are long lasting, are easily slipped on my metal straw.

Took me a minute to get used to this type straw but I love them

They're fine. Mostly. Over all. If you've never used tips like these they're better than the short ones imo. However, I got this particular set as a replacement for other tips like this that are thicker, sturdier, and better made. The ones I was trying to replace also have a brilliantly simple ridge on the inside on one end. This connects to indented ring on the top of the straw, locking it into place. Had my cat not decided they were his favor thing to chew anytime I left my drink unattended, they most likely would have lasted far more years than the one or two I had them. So I took a chance on these & by comparison, these suck. No interlocking ridge, super thin, which feels nice but is likely to tare (especially if my cat tries to steal one. The others lasted through several of his attempts before he punctured them. I suspect he so much as grabs hold of these & they'll be beyond washing to use again.) If I hadn't had the comparison, I might have thought these were fine & been content with them until they broke. I'll keep them & use them probably. But I won't buy them again.

Make sure that you get the right size these are for the big straws not the thinner copper or silver ones. It was my fault. Ordered the smaller ones and works flawlessly

I got these for my water tumbler as my toddler likes to drink from them. As an ER nurse we see kids running and impaling themselves with hard straws, so the silicone tip that is at an angle makes me feel better. Plus they get to pick their color so win win. Easy to wash and disinfect.

Soft & easy to slide over stainless straws. Wish you could select a package of one colour but an assortment of ok.
