Calibrated?
Pros: Has a nice heavy-duty hose and fittings. Bought instead of similar Longacre Racing gauge because there are wrench flats to change fittings on the swivel end of the Joes' hose. Swivels easily. Gauge has an ok rubber cover. On power up the display shows the maximum pressure (60 psi) for a second, then seems to auto-zero. Mode changes the readout from psi to KPa to Bar to Kgf/cm*2. The green LED back light behind the LCD stays on for 15 seconds, mode button also restores the LED and extends operation for 15 seconds. The readable LCD stays on longer than the back light and the gauge shuts down after 90 seconds. Shows battery condition with 5 bars. Uses 2 AAA batteries.Cons: No calibration certificate, no warranty information, only a small sheet of paper which says be careful not to exceed the maximum rated pressure, no storage case. Gauge housing is plastic. Conclusion: One hopes it is accurate, but without a calibration certificate, who knows. Because of the decent hose and hose fittings the unit seems less cheap than the super-cheap digitals, and the dsplay is quite readable. However the real racing gauges seem to be over $100, and come with padded storage boxes. This may be one of those times when you get what you pay for... which makes this better than a cheap digital, but not as good as a more expensive racing gauge. Aside: Professional gauges have calibration screws for recalibration against an expensive "transfer standard" gauge. The Joes' gauge case comes apart with three screws, but I haven't checked inside to see if there is a calibration potentiometer. Recalibration is iffy.FYI: There is a post (search: Calibrating the Tyre Pressure Gauge) showing how to use a hand pump and container of water to check gauge calibration. Using the standard weight of water at shop temperature the results should be accurate to several decimal places. Much cheaper than buying a $10,000 dead weight tester, which also uses weights and gravity as a primary pressure standard.

Good and accurate air gauge
The only drawback for this air gauge is that it does not hold the reading when the chuck has been removed from the valve stem. That makes it hard for lying on one's back and finally (with 2 hands) getting the chuck onto my Harley Limited rear tire stem. I had asked if it held the reading and the answer was "yes". But it doesn't.Joe's racing offered full credit for the purchase of their gauge that DOES hold the reading; but unfortunately, it appears that the only one they have is analog. I really like the precision of digital. So I'm going to purchase a check valve and install it at the air chuck. It should hold the air in the gauge long enough for me to read it.

Great accuracy, I think. Very cheaply built
I only use this gauge for my sandrail during the winter months. It seems to be accurate and consistent with its readings which I really like. And the back-lit display helps a bunch in the dark of night as we are driving in remote areas with little campground lighting. My complaint is that the very first time I had to replace the batteries, it quit working. So I opened it up looking for a broken or poor connection. The connections to the batteries aren't spaced correctly so they didn't make good contact with the batteries. And I found the internals were very very cheap. With all my monkeying around with it I can't get it to consistently work. Ugh.

No More Guessing!
Takes the work out of guessing with the old pencil tire gauge. You get a digital number instead of trying to guess a number on the hashmark with the old pencil gauge. The digital number is big and iights up, so you can see in the dark as well. I should've bought it sooner. Well worth it!

Works well
It works fine it is accurate and easy to read, I did notice that there is a model that retains the pressure reading once you remove it from the valve, but I don't care about the feature. Measures in tenths of pounds I use it at the race track to maintain correct pressure

Don't buy this gauge
I bought this gauge and used it about 5 times now it won't even power up. I put a new battery in it and it still won't power up. It also burns through batteries when it's off. I was careful with it and always stored it in my locked rollaway tool box as well.

Works great! Accurate
I searched for a long time to find an accurate and reliable digital gauge. I've been very happy with this Joe's Racing gauge. I tested it against a calibrated gauge at my local tire shop and it was within 0.3 PSI. Good enough for me!

Lived Up To It's Billing
Fast, accurate, easy to use.Clear digital display. The ball chuck prevented air from escaping and was a great addition. Would recommend highly. After trying several cheaper models I can honestly say this gauge was worth the price.
