Great for resin
Huge difference for my resin turning. Switched from a regular carbide tip to the negative rack style. Price was hard to swallow, but it sure works great on resin.

Nice negative rake scraper carbide upgrade
This is a nice negative rake carbide upgrade to my gouge. It fit like a glove and was easy to install.

Well worth it!
Having chewed up a bunch of epoxy on my lathe I finally decided to try this. Makes life so much easier! While I found I could work the epoxy with other carbide tools and chisels, it was very slow going, had to be SO gentle. With this negative rake cutter I can remove material at a reasonable rate without tearing out huge chunks (particularly at the transitions from wood to epoxy and back in hidden wood bowls)

It's the best
Nothing much to add to what already has been written. I've got no complaints about using this negative rake carbide cutter for cutting my fusion bowls. Highly recommend.

Big improvement
I bought this to convert my EWT full-size finisher after discovering how much better a steel scraper cuts when ground with negative rake. This is absolutely essential if you turn very hard woods, epoxy impregnated wood, or (I’m told) hard plastics.
