This is simply one of the best olive oils in the market. And I have researched and tried many of them. You can tell by the taste. It has that nice authentic "grassy" taste that tells you the oil is legit and not mixed with lesser oils. It says that it comes from a small family farm in Greece, so it's single source. Greek olive oil is better than Italian contrary to what we've been told. It is truly the only olive oil that I buy. Once I found this, I've stopped my search. I will sometimes take a shot of this as is recommended by a popular dr for health. Goes awesome on salad by itself, in dressings, use for cooking/baking, etc. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Wow! I didn’t know olive oil could taste so good. It has a peppery taste and sensation going down your throat. I tasted it as a test to know whether or not the purity was there, and I’m not disappointed. Very fine product I will keep using as long as they make it. I especially love the fact it isn’t blended, but a single farm/source. Excellent!!

I don't particularly like olive oil. Too greasy and that overshadows any flavor for me. That said, I use it on salad and in a bread recipe that I consistently use. First, it is rated very well by people more knowledgeable about olive oil then I. The main thing is that, with the same recipe and same ingredients in the same bread making machine, this time the bread came out perfectly and tasted very good. It is usually pretty good, but this time when I used this oil, it was noticeably better. In the past I used light taste olive oil or avocado oil. From now on it will be only this olive oil.

Like everything these days, greed gets in the way of quality, as stated above, most olive oil you buy at the grocery store in a mixture of olives from different growers then is split using canola or other oils, meaning you are not getting what you think you are getting, Ellora olive oil is 100% olive oil from one source, a single origin, single estate, and you can tell the difference in the flavor. Big time! Ellora has a wonderful real olive oil taste that you expect from 100% real olive oil. We will be buying Ellora olive oil again! Check your labels people, make sure you know what you are putting into your body!
