Good basic tri-band radio!
Seems to be a nice radio. Good audio quality, good output power levels on all 3 bands. Checked harmonics on all three bands (2m, 1.25m and 70cm) and all good and within FCC specs. Pretty good included antennas IMO (small one is for 220 only!). I couldn't read included small CD but latest version of CHIRP had no issues reading and writing to this radio. I tried to read it as TH-350 and TH-350US and saw no difference in CHIRP. This radio doesn't have fancy features (GPS, APRS and etc.) but it seems to be working well. Still testing it but most likely will keep it! The only thing I'd love to have is USB-C port on the battery. I generally like TYT radios. Have couple of 8000Es as well.

Nice Inexpensive Radio With 1.25 Meter Band
This is a solid radio, but don't try to program it using the CHIRP Next software. That is for the standard TH-350, not the TH-350US version. Also make sure the factory software is for the US version also, since the older version of the TYT software will not work correctly either. Other than that it works great, has good sound quality and puts out the correct amount of transmit power. This one is a keeper!

Monitor 3 channels at once
This radio is a tri-band radio, meaning it operates on 2 meter, 1.25 meter (220 MHz band), and 70 centimeter amateur radio bands. It comes with 3 antennas, including a tri-band antenna that will work for all three radio bands. So, for starts, it's a tri-bander. Then, the radio displays 3 different "bands" on the display, each "band" of which can be set to any frequency or channel that the radio can receive. This means that you can monitor three different frequencies or channels at the "almost" same time. It is NOT a triple-receive, though, so once a signal comes in on one of the "bands," the radio will play that signal and not look for other "bands" until the original signal stops talking. Then, the radio goes back to listening on all three bands in quick cyclical succession. This is a great little radio due to these features. You can use the three "bands" to monitor VVV, UUU, VVU, VUV, UVV, etc. You get it.

Totally surprising me so far
I was hesitant cause you usually get what you pay for. But...... this unit is a great value. I was very leary of quality but so far it's a joy and is fun to use. Not many 1.2m band radios available AND a tri-band to boot. Very easy to program with the included software and cable and also by front keypad. Feels comfortable in your hand and small and light enough to fit in a pocket. For my use audio was plenty loud and not distorted and after a full charge out of the box battery lasted quite a long time before needing a recharge. Good reports on transmit through repeaters on all bands. I had plenty of memories to store my local stuff but others may say there's not enough memory. I'm totally satisfied so far and almost tempted to purchase a spare but can only use one radio at a time. Hoping it will last a good while and not be a short term throwaway radio and if its still available at that time may purchase another.

A good, affordable tri-band transceiver.
I turned it on in my apartment, where I tend to get interference, and it seems to have good signal rejection. I wanted a 220-Mhz radio, and this one does all three VHF and UHF bands (2 meters, 1.25 meters - the band I was after, and 70 centimeters).

Works as expected
I purchased a separate tri-band antenna that works well with this radio. My only thought is that it appears that this radio does not scan. If it does, I have never been able to find out how to make it scan. The manual is unclear. Another thing to be aware is that the display monitors three frequencies simultaneously. There is a function through the menu that turns off a feature that moves the arrow to the band that is receiving a signal. If you don't turn off this feature you may find yourself transmitting on a different frequency than you were talking based on what what band was shown as active by the arrow on the display. This can be inconvenient, but not a problem once you are aware of it. Nice display. Hears well. The menu takes a little while to get used to, but not anymore difficult than other radios I have operated. Good bang for the buck. My most used feature is that it listens and displays three memory channels at the same time. You can listen to one frequency on each band or three frequencies on one band or two on one band and one on a different band. I find this feature unique to this radio. I do wish it would scan the memory channels, but until I can figure out how, I'm not losing any sleep over it. I'm satisfied with it and it's many features.

Great little radio!!
I was skeptical at first of buying this radio. 3 bands, 5 watts of power for this price? Well when I got it and charged it up, It was easy to program once I learned the steps. I used all 3 bands and it gets 1-2 watts on low and 5-6 watts on high. I am impressed. My audio reports were good. Once you setup your frequencies you want and then turn on the scan, it will scan and pop up the active channel. So you actually are monitoring all frequencies of all 3 bands. Oh by the way, 6 watts on 220 band. Don't know about how long it will last, its too soon. Hope this helps.

Solid Tri-Band Performance for the Money
this is the 2nd radio in a 2-radio purchase & my review is identical: The TYT TH-350 provides good transmitter audio & power output, plus good receiver sensitivity & speaker audio. The remote speaker-mike also performs well when transmitting or receiving. When purchased from Lets Get Ready, the radio also comes with a bonus tri-band antenna supplimenting the separate 220 MHz and 146/445 MHz factory antennas - No more antenna changing is required! The radio provides full 3-band ham radio coverage and allows the user to also monitor/scan weather, agency, business and GMRS frequencies. A word of caution, some jurisdictions do not allow monitoring of agency frequencies so check your local restrictions. I wish the radio came with a higher capacity battery, but as delivered I can easily get a full days' use without recharging. The optional cigarette lighter adapter lets me use the radio when mobile without worrying about running down the battery.
