Sooo Cute and Fun
I love my bird clock! It took getting used to, but now it's so lovely to hear it go off and it helps me know what time it is without having to look at the clock. (And it's so much fun to recognize the bird sounds when I'm outside!)It actually requires quite a bit of light to go off. A lamp next to it will activate it. A light on in an adjacent room will not activate it. So, you may hear the click for when it's reached the new hour, but it won't play audio.A couple of times my bird sounds have de-synced. There's a button on the back that you push until the right sound plays, and then it's fine again. Obviously that's a problem if you don't know any of the bird sounds, but there's ad videos of the clock that can help ya identify the correct bird/sound.I truly wish there was a way to control the volume of the audio. I'd love to have this clock at work, but I'd need it to be quiter. At home, though, it's fine. I'd say it's quieter than what most people set their tv at.

Birdie clock
This clock is a must if you love birds of any kind. My birds love it. The sounds are so real.

It works well. Nice bird sounds.

Great (loud) bird sounds
Love the clock- it is loud, with no way to turn it down. I put some scotch tape over the speaker to help dampen the sound.

Greatest clock option
We are obsessed with this clock. It brings back nostalgic memories for me at my grandparents’ house and it helps my kids keep a better track of time especially in the morning. My 4 year old will just spout out what time it is when she hears the birds. The bird sounds are so authentic that the cat pauses every time he hears it and looks around for birds. The green is perfect and creates an overall cozy, quaint vibe. Great purchase! My favorite purchase this year!

It sounds like the bird is in the room with you
It is the best ever I used to have one years ago. It was much smaller. This one sounds so real every time it goes off. My dogs are looking around the room to see where the bird is. I would definitely recommend that.

Nice Concept; Poor Execution
I wrote much of my appreciation and issues regarding this purchase under the section where it was teamed with the other bird clock for purchasing together.Basically ...The bird sounds are accurate and easy to set up.The real negative is that the sounds [for this spevific model] are far to quiet to regularly notice if the clock is more than a couple feet away. Adding a volume-cobtrol feature would go far at improving the product. The construction quality of the clock itself it rather poor: cheap plastic and flimsy framing of the glass, and easily bent hour-minute hands.Buyer beware: Make sure it is securely attached to your wall; a drop of even two feet likely will break parts [as happened with the other bird-song clock in the combo I purchased from the same manufacturer]. Any sales talk about "quality workmamship or design" needs to be listened to with a doubtful/cynical ear. Production is made "on the cheap" [e.g., "made in C"]. Some of us would be quite willing to pay more for higher quality construction. I've purchased three clocks from the manufacturing company in the recent past, but will look elsewhere in the future for something less "plastic and decal" in its design.
