In the past, I have had batteries stop working correctly, particularly in cold temperatures, resulting in the mirror getting into weird positions and shutter not working properly. This battery claims to be the newer version that does not have that issue, and on initial testing, I am pretty confident that I agree. I stored the battery in the refrigerator for several days to really push it to the limit, and then tested in D500 on rapid continuous shooting, and the camera never had any issues firing properly.
