SERVBOTS
SERVBOTS. OH MY GOD SERVBOTS.That aside, I loved every minute of this. The tank-style controls to operate the Gustaff took a bit of getting used to, but even that's a bit minimal. The first game I've played in the MM:Legends series and this has gotten me very interested in playing both the originals. My only gripe about this was the Puzzle section for capturing the freight containers. Good thing that section is optional, as you really can just run through everything else and/or grind through the ruins for Zenny.

Anarchy kawaii!
There's weird hybrids, and then there's "The Misadventures of Tron Bonne", which might best be described as a combination of single-player "Mario Party" with the inventorty and character interaction of a "Final Fantasy" game. But that description misses two important factors: wanton plunder and CUTE LITTLE SERVBOTS!The goal of the game is to collect one-million zenny (a Capcom monetary unit) to pay off the Bonne family debts. The young, morally-unencumbered Tron is a mechanical whiz, so she sets off in the mighty ship Gesselschaff with its robotic crew to raise the funds the old-fashioned way: by stealing them. The four major modes in the title are mini-games: two variants on dungeon-crawling, a puzzle section, and a 3-D platform shootout. Tron, usually piloting her mechanical mobile suit, Gustaff, is assisted by 40 cute-as-a-button "servbots". The great thing about the servbots is their absolute innocence in the service of piracy -- it's hilarious to blow the doors off a house, send in the servbots, and watch them run out yelling "yay!", their arms full of loot. The servbots have distinct personalities, and unique skills that can be unlocked by giving each a unique object. They can also improve their core skills by playing still more mini-games aboard the ship. And for servbots that get lazy, there's a torture room where you're challenged to spike, torch, and flatten naughty servbots. It's a peculiar mix, but open-minded gamers will love this title...

Like the previous reviewer I bought it off the PSN ...
Like the previous reviewer I bought it off the PSN for $5.99. I played it on a PS3. It's a lot of fun, even for adults. One thing to note is the game's humor and style, which it is full of. It is chock full of 90s style cartoon humor and fun. That being said I'm surprised in some parts that it got a E rating. The bank heist levels I find should have been a little questionable for kids (a little bit like GTA there) but I suppose....cartooney(?)... enough to slide for the time. There's also a torture room to discipline disobedient servbots, although it really isn't anywhere as bad as it sounds; it's more like putting them through a Looney Tunes series of slapstick humor to get them to shape up (the servbots are indestructible but are full of emotion). Speaking of servbots, there's 40 of them that serve you on the base and missions and scouting. They remind me of the minions from the Despicable Me movies, except they look like lego characters. The game also has base management similar to games like X-Com and MGS: PW, although a bit more simplified. It has a lot of voice acting, which is a bit rough in the beginning but gets better as the game goes on (or maybe I just got used to it). Overall I found it to be a very fun game with a good amount of variety and great pacing. I finished it in roughly 12 1/2 hours. I can't imagine paying the price collectors pay for a hard copy of the game (~$100) when it is that short; if you can purchase the digital version you should be just fine.

Amazingly Fun Game
I may be late with my review but I saw this game up and thought, why not? This MML 1 and 2 are my favorite games to this day.( I'd never sell them) This will bring you some background with the Bonne family. It also brings with it all the rival characters you knew and loved, in the legends series. As you know this and the Legends series brings something totally new from the other Megaman series, 3D and loveable interesting characters and story. Never going into extremes of, justice must be served (Megaman) or being constantly serious and dreary.(MegamanX)Megaman Legends 1 and 2 and the Misadventures of Tron Bonne all strike the perfect balance. Megaman wanting dig and explore, but getting constantly interrupted, though still happy to help where he can. Tron just wanting to make money, but needs to save her brothers from loansharks in the process. All in a dated but still colorful 3d game, unless you search the ruins where you'll find whats left of a destroyed an eerie world. You will have great fun playing this game and the others!

A Fun Departure
I enjoyed the Mega Man Legend Games so much and love Tron that I had to by this game when it first came out. This game party reminded me of the original series in that you could choose which path you watched to go down first. The different paths where mini games in their own right. One was an adventure, another was a puzzle and so on. I thaught it was very comical when Tron felt sorry for the police woman that chased after her. Still I love the Mega Man Legends world and want more games.
