Amflo 588HR-RET 3/8" x 50' Enclosed Hyrbrid Hose Reel, Yellow

Received the unit yesterday, and installed today replacing another reel system that decided to give up the ghost after 10 years. Seems to be constructed pretty well, and holds pressure well with a new coupler in place.I do, however, have a couple of nits:1. Mounted on a vertical platform, the design of the housing and mounting bracket won’t allow the unit to swing back and forth a full 180 deg. This probably wouldn’t affect most folks, but I have an overhead trolley system for a chain fall, and where I had to mount the reel system just barely allows the trolley to eek by the reel with some interference.2. The hoses for the system are 3/8”, but the fittings are ¼”. Doesn’t make any sense to me to choke the system down with the smaller fittings.Having said that, if the system lasts as well as the previous unit I’ll be happy.

Great addition to the garage. Reel and hose are durable.

The black plastic piece I am holding in my hand it broken. After installing the hose reel the hose would not come out. I was able to get the part back together and it is working. Surprised by the part being broke. The boxes the reel came in was not damaged.
