The product seems to be made well, however in the description it said I wouldn't need a collar. I needed a collar. I contacted customer service to ask them what exactly I needed to get to make it work. They said they'd get back to me. A week and a half, and no contact. Going to contact them now to return and get a refund.

Over all disappointed. While the product was easy to install, we continue to experience problems with downdraft. We live on a hillside, surrounded by trees, and while the product clearly states that it helps with wind-related draft issues, it also notes that it will help with drafts caused by environmental issues-like ours. So far no noticeable improvements with its use....

This item fit like a glove. Make sure you get your Chimney flew dimensions correctly. I was advise this flew cap stops back drafts back down the chimney. I’m not completely sold this does that.

We used to always have draft issues with smoke filling the house and after installing this topper no issues anymore. It really is a work of art!!! The only issue i had was my chimney has a liner and i ordered 1 size up and was the exact size of the chimney rain guard so order 2 sizes larger or take closer measurements than i did

Works Perfect! I have a wood stove in a small room that never vented properly and would fill the room up with smoke every time I fired it up. I have large tree's around this room, which was part of the problem. I was skeptical on this product but didn't want to spend big bucks adding a blower or vent fan. I installed this 2 weeks ago and have lit the wood stove every night since install with no more smoke filling the room. Works like a charm!!
