This is ah-may-zing! I purchased the shade black onyx, which is gorgeous. I don't know if you have hard time keeping eyeliner on but this won't budge. The formula is highly pigmented and creamy--not thin. It's thick enough so that one swipe does it. it dries very quickly and once it's on, it stays on. Quality is excellent. Maybelline outdid themselves on this one!

Best eyeliner I've ever used. For 25 years I used cover girls basic black eyeliner- I just assumed eyeliner only lasted on the eye for 2 or 3 hours. I decided to try this eyeliner. It didn't move all day. It was amazing- so black and defined, all day. It is very soft, but just be prepared for that. Gently draw the line where you want it. It's very easy. You can make a thick or thin line. Use a light hand, but it will go on dark where you put it, practice, it's very worth it. When you do want to remove it it comes off easily, I use Almay regular (not waterproof) remover. I was excited to go jet skiing because I knew it would stay on, and it did. I haven't sharpened it yet because I don't need a really sharp pencil to place it properly. I might put it in the freezer for a few minutes before I do sharpen it. Enjoy!

This is my favorite eye liner, but its getting harder to find in stores. Its soft and creamy so it doesn't tug on the delicate skin around the eye. the pigment is strong. I love it and have to buy it here on Amazon as i can't find in stores. I hope Maybelline doesn't discontinue this liner. I've tried Tattoo studio and unstoppable - they're not the same. Lasting Drama is a keeper!!

I dislike how I need to sharpen it manually. A bit messy. When sharpened, it glides on beautifully. So, the result and effect is worth it, so I will continue to use it.

Trust Maybelline to have the perfect eyeliner. I have tried so many. Some are so hard. They won’t leave a mark unless you practically gouge your eye out. Others are soft like this one, but within a few hours it’s all over the bottom of my eyelid. It’s like it sweats down leaving a smudgy look. I hate that so much. This one is great. I put it on, and it stays all day. There’s no smearing even on a humid day.

I've always used black eyeliner then I received from someone a brown one and decided to try it and I love it. I have green eyes and it looks great on. It does not smudge but I wouldn't say it's waterproof. Either way I love the product.

Maybelline has always been my "go to" brand. I love the gel eyeliners as they last all day, no smudging and are easily removed. HOWEVER, Maybelline has replaced this gel liner with a Tattoo gel liner. It flakes during the day and is horrible to remove. Wish Maybelline would get the message.

Glides on seamlessly. Creamy not dry. Great for mature skin with lines.

Terrible design...you can't sharpen this pencil. The outer casing is too hard for a sharpener. It just splinters and the eyeliner portion gets smashed.
