Fantastic Iron
I originally bought a more expensive iron that was a different brand. It stopped working within a week. It was really heavy, and also a lot of new irons have a function that you have to have to hold down a trigger to get the steam to work, which is quite difficult when the iron is heavy. This one doesn’t have that function, which was a relief. We have never had a breville iron before, so we didn’t know what to expect, but the reviews were positive on here; so we took a chance and it was worth it.This iron is truly fantastic. I love the design and colours with the rose gold and the kind of leopard print on the main body of the iron. It is also very lightweight which makes it so much easier for arthritis and back pain.I love that the steam is automatic and no Trigger and the water capacity is good. It’s seamless and makes Ironing so much easier as it glides and it’s powerful.Ironing is one of my least favourite household chores, but this iron makes it so much quicker and easier.I purchased this one because of other great reviews I had read on here. I’m really glad I returned the other brand (the one that broke within a week) and got this instead because it is so much better.

Good iron but help me now!
This iron does the job very well but Iv had it 6 months and the steam button is very stiff to use. Iv now been told by breville that Amazon are responsible for the warranty and that is a struggle to get some answers 🤬

Works Great & Good Price
Got this for the same reason anyone buys an iron, the old one needed replaced.I had a quick look and this kept popping up and the reviews were good as it was a good price I thought I would give it a shot.Well packaged and presented, easy to follow instructions. (I skimmed over them)It's light to use and glides well on fabrics. The steam shot is good and I like that the spray is a finer mist than on most irons I've used. Heats up quickly and has a safety strip on the side so you know when it's fully cooled down after use.Water tank is a good size and comes with a refill cup.I kept the cable tie as this makes packing away easier but you would be able to wrap the cable around the bottom if you wished.Definitely an upgrade from my last iron and glad I went with this one.No complaints here or from my other half who is more pernickety than myself.

Great iron
I was looking for a reliable iron, not too heavy that can tackle jeans and other heavy fabrics; this iron is brilliant, made ironing easy and just the right amount of steam. It heats up fast, leaf length is fine and for £20 it’s a bargain!

A Powerful, Stylish Game-Changer for Effortless Ironing
The Breville DiamondXpress Steam Iron that I recently bought has far surpassed my expectations! Ironing even the most stubborn wrinkles is a snap thanks to its powerful steam spray and lightning-fast heating process. The iron glides smoothly over all types of fabric and around buttons and seams effortlessly.I also love the 400ml easy-fill water tank, which is large enough to get through a good amount of laundry without constant refills. Overall, it’s a high-performing, beautifully designed iron that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for quality and ease of use!

It appears to have a dangerous fault
Bought this ( at a much higher price) 28 months ago. Don’t have a lot of ironing to do as retired and only a family of 2. I always have Breville irons, my last one lasted for over 20 years and it was only from the cheaper end of the market, so decided to go mid-higher range about a month ago the iron started to overheat a little however this quickly got worse and even on the cooler setting was sticking/melting fabrics the last time I used it the handle got so hot very quickly that it burned my hand, and blew the fuses in the house I contacted Breville who said it was out of warranty but they could offer 30% off a new iron. Needless to say I declined as my faith in the brand had been shattered due to the actual dangerous nature of the fault. I have noticed on some other reviews that they have complained that the iron overheats/smokes and sticks/ burns clothes. So in my opinion I would NOT recommend this product

Only lasted 3 years,
Really liked this iron when first purchased. It is on the heavy side but did a good job. However, it has only lasted just over 3 years which is a relatively short time. We tried changing the fuse but it no longer heated up although light was on showing that it wasn't the electrical source at fault. Have now purchased a new iron.
