Haflinger unisex-adult GZ Classic Grizzly Clog

Super cute! I have high arches and wide feet and I recently injured the tendons and ligaments in the inside of the ankle. Brooks Adrenaline with custom orthotics and Birkenstock Arizona sandals have been the only shoes that relieve pain and provide support. I decided to try the HAFLINGER GZ Clog to have a closed toe warm and cozy shoe. They are supportive and cute. I wear them with thin or thick wool socks and love that I can wear them as a slipper indoors or as a clog outdoors. They have a rubber non-slip style sole.

These were recommended by my podiatrist after I went to him with a bad case of plantar fasciitis 6 years ago. Told me not to go barefoot, recommended these and Oofos flip flops. I wear these almost constant, including when I fly. They are comfortable and hold up well.

Love these slippers as they are very supportive and mold to your foot much like a birkenstock would. warm and last for two years in daily wear around the house. Helps me deal with plantar fascitis and makes it much less painful!

For such an expensive pair of slippers (only wear then inside the house) I would expect them to last more than a year. The sole is beginning to separate from the cork layer and the upper part with the boiled wool is also beginning to separate. Have worn this brand for many years because of their good arch support but the quality has degraded with this last pair.

I just received my Haflinger Grizzly Clogs, and there was a minor surprise. The implication in the product description is that they are made in Germany. "Haflinger is the largest manufacturer of boiled wool in Germany." My first pair, still in use after 5 years, are German, and they are great. These new ones are made in Ukraine, and the quality has slipped a bit. They look good, but I found a small lump under my heel in the right one. Maybe I can beat it down.I'll be keeping these since there is nothing else that is really similar, but there is an element of disappointment.There is an ongoing thread in these reviews concerning size. I wear a US 12, and I ordered the largest size available, 46, which is supposed to be a US 13. They just fit. My older pair are 47's, (supposedly a US 14 from the Amazon men's shoe size charts) and they are a better fit.One last observation: the older pair started pulling apart recently, and I used viscous super glue to tack the boiled wool body back onto the cork soles. This seems to work well, and I'll be using them for as long as I can.

It took me a little bit to get used to the arch but I know that it’s good for me and now that I have broken them and I absolutely love them. The break in time was very minimal and it wasn’t like they were uncomfortable during the break in time.

Seit Jahren vertraue ich auf diese Haflinger. Das Design ist natürlich Geschmackssache, aber die Verarbeitung war immer top: eine dicke Sohle mit Kork sorgt für vernünftigen Halt - wobei ich fairerweise sagen muss, dass beim letzten Pantoffel die Gummisohle im Laufe der Zeit knallhart wurde und ein risikofreies Laufen ausgeschlossen war: Rutschgefahr. Vielleicht ein Montagsprodukt... Die übrigen Pantoffel hatten das Problem nicht.Der große Vorteil ist der wirklich dicke Filz, der nicht nur in der kalten Zeit ganz hervorragend wärmt, sondern auch jedem Schweiß vorbeugt! Selbst im Sommer hatte ich keine Schwitzfüße. Das ist Qualität, für die ich bereit bin, auch diesen vergleichsweise hohen Preis (immerhin fast 70 Euro) zu bezahlen. Bei der Wahl der Fußkleidung kann man sehr schnell am falschen Ende sparen.Daher komme ich immer wieder zu diesen Haflingern zurück. Bei häufigem Tragen halten sie in etwa drei Jahre; dann ist die Sohle meist durch.Noch ein Tipp zur Größe: die Haflinger fallen eher kleiner aus. Dieses Modell kommt noch am ehesten der üblichen Größe nahe, während andere teils deutlich kleiner ausfallen. Am besten wählen Sie eine halbe bis ganze Nummer größer, dann sollte es passen.In jedem Fall ein klare Kaufempfehlung!

Best slippers ever. I guess they could last a little longer, but they are super comfy and warm. This is my 3rd pair. I wear them every day. They wear out after 5 or 6 years. Expensive, but I have no doubt I'll buy another pair when these wear out.

Ich habe lange nach Hausschuhen für meinen Freund in Schuhgröße 49 gesucht und bin aufgrund der überwiegend sehr positiven Bewertungen bei diesen gelandet. Habe sie in Größe 50 bestellt, damit mein Freund sie im Winter auch mit dicken Socken bequem tragen kann. Die Größe passt gut, auch ohne Wollsocken, ergo fallen die Schuhe evtl. etwas kleiner aus. Bislang (seit ca 4 Wochen im Gebrauch) ist er begeistert. Die Sohlen sind in unserer Wohnung mit größten Teils Fliesenboden rutschfest und auch ein kurzer Gang vor die Tür ist kein Problem. Mittlerweile trägt mein Freund die Schuhe auch ohne Socken, weil sie die Füße schön warm halten. Wir beide finden die Schuhe auch sehr optisch sehr ansprechend - die dunkelblaue Variante. Tragekomfort,Qualität, Lieferung und Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis (ich habe zum Kaufzeitpunkt knapp 30 € bezahlt) wirklich absolut top und empfehlenswert! Für große Männerfüße wie gemacht :)
