excellent product, highly reccomend these trousers
just to let you know before i write this review, i havent recieved anything by way of testing this product from the seller, i am a private buyer and my views are my own im a 36'' waiste and 6ft tall and i ordered a 36'' long, when i recieved them i was excited so i tried them on to find out they were to long by about a foot and they were to tight on the waiste, so i send them back and got a 38'' waiste and a short in length, again excited to get them and once i tried them on they were perfect, just enough room to wear a pair of tracky bottoms or a pair of shorts underneath, the knee pads are in the perfect position what ever style you have when riding a bike, there thick kevlar and really feel like a good quality and also waterproof, they have a full length zip on both sides from the waiste down to the hem, and when wearing your boots they fit perfect and dont catch whilst your walking or try to get your leg over the bike, so in essence, if your 6ft tall i reccomend you get the short fit and go up one waiste size then you will find out there a perfect fit, ive had many kevlar trousers over my years of biking, but i have to say for the price you cant go wrong, there tough, excellent quality and really comfortable, so i highly reccomend these motorcycle trousers and this seller, im fussy when it comes to protective clothing because at the end of the day, they save lives so i have to give them 5 stars as i cant find a fault with them......

You get a little bit more than what you pay for,
Did the job. I like that it can be zipped over my work jeans. Got caught in a rain storm on a 2 hour ride. Leaked a little at the zips and not 100% at the crotch, but 90% dry and that's not bad. I've had worse from more expensive gear. Would like a little bit more robust zips on the side, I expect them to fail after one season. The Zip connecting the jacket was a bonus and nice and chunky. The knee armour has slots in that pinched my legs so I swapped them out for some smoother ones I had spare. everything else is good.

Brilliant Pair Of Biker Strides.
Lovely and warm and quite waterproof on my particular commute of 20 minutes tops. I did have an all in one rain suit but bought these strides along with a Richa Rain Warrior coat and it's loads better in bad weather now. They fit very nice, not baggy or anything, they actually look smart when attired and slip on very smoothly due to the silky inner lining, although you have to be careful not to catch your toe in the kneepad pocket. I never use the side zips so I feel they should be omitted, because they are very easy to put on and allow you to bend over tieing up your boots etc with no trouble, just as if you were putting your jeans on. I bought the same size as my jeans, 34, and they fit great. The length of the leg in the long fit is 34, so they are exactly the same as my usual jeans fit actually, 34/34. Very warm though, the first time I wore them it was in howling winds and rain, and my legs felt just as warm as if I was in a car, very impressed. I will ride with them all the time now, until much warmer climes in Spring or Summer. Side pockets are very welcome too. Excellent purchase! Update February 2021: 5 years later these over-trousers are still in great shape and keeping me warm.

Good fit, comfortable and very protective - fair weather only
I was initially super-impressed with these trousers - I bought 32" waist (I'm a 30) and the fit over my jeans was perfect - snug but not tight. This meant they were far more comfortable than my other pair of trousers that are very loose and long (even though they are the smallest pair I could get). BUT and yes it is a big, massive BUT... They are only splash proof, not waterproof. Fine on wet roads and light rain, but as soon as you need to ride in a decent downpour, forget it. My daily commute is 20 mins and I have just got in from riding that in decent rain (not stair rods, but not light either) - my groin is drenched, my trousers from the knee down, drenched. I still rate these trousers as value for money in general and I intend to continue using them, but if I am going to be riding in the rain I will switch to my old faithful baggy, uncomfortable but DRY other trousers.

A year on and they're still good
Having just negatively reviewed their jeans I thought I'd better positively review these. A year on and they're still great. Good length, good knee pad height, warm, waterproof (so far), comfortable. The fit is generous, but works well because they're over trousers. One or two negatives. The waist belt self loosens from time to time, but that's no big deal. The fitting to attach the trousers to the inside back of my jacket turns them into terrible crotch cutters, but that could just as easily be because of the jacket. I've used the full length leg zips only a couple of times because it is a huge faff, so now I just remove my boots. I thought the leg zips would be useful but turns out not. Key question is whether I'd buy them again ... yes.

Great easy trousers
Update: Contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and they were very helpful and have replaced the trousers without any issues. So long as it was a one off manufacturing fault then I'd recommend. Will update if any issues occur. Original: I ordered these trousers about a month ago and have been using them regularly since they arrived, they've been great kept the wind and water out and nice and easy to take off and put on. However in the rain this morning I noticed a hole has appeared in the external material of the crotch which has let in water. Also a small hole has appeared in the lining material but this is less of an issue when compared to the outer layer. Luckily it was only light rain today but they are less than a month old and no long fit for what they are intended. I will attempt to contact the manufacturer/seller.
