A Lil' Bling-Bling for the Garage
I bought the single toggle plate as we as a double toggle as finishing touches to my "garage makeover." I just like the character they give to an otherwise boring wall accessory. The diamond tread pattern adds a little of that industrial-masculine-grease-monkey vibe I was going for. I also like how it looks with the Wall Control brand galvanized steel pegboard, silver Elfa System components and the other metal tools and storage accessories in the garage. Note: I expected it to be more solid than it actually is. The material is a bit flimsy, so I wouldn't be willing to pay much more than I did for it (around $3 each), but it's probably better quality than the standard white plastic wall plates. I suppose this really doesn't matter too much as they lay flat on the wall and subsequently don't have too many opportunities to get bent or damaged. Still, I would have preferred (and paid more for) some good ol' American steel craftsmanship. If the matching duplex outlets ever come down to a reasonable price, I plan to buy a couple of them as well. P.S. I also think these would look great in a boy's room, workshop, or in a room that decorated in an industrial style.

Plate fits nicely, and is a nice looking piece. Would like to purchase more, but after I got this one, the price went way up, so waiting to see it come back down, they sell the triple plate for much less, so no clue why this single is now so expensive.

They're light switch plates. Not really much to say as for function. But they are a nice style for my garage decor.
