US Window and Floor 2" Cordless Faux Wood Blinds, Blind Size 24" x 72", Outside Mount

I am missing the turn for the blind. I just opened it today (6/29) and the turn to open and close the blind is missing. Other than that it looks great. Is it possible to have one sent to me?

The install was fairly simple. The instructions are not detailed, so be prepared to go to the manufacturer website or this Amazon page to explain some set up pieces.I’m also missing one of the bottom hooks to keep the blinds attached to the door so it’s not always swinging. Only came with one, which is somewhat pointless because it won’t stay down with one.

The Blinds themselves are top notch , great value for the money ! took Me some time to figure out how to install these as the instructions leave much to be desired . For instance , no instructions on how to lower the blinds seeing that their is no cord . Well mystery solved You have to do it by grabbing the bottom and pull or lift to the desired height . Then their is the included screws , or lack thereof, no screws for the bottom bracket hold down .Then their are the 2 square clear plastic , these sit behind the main hold down screws to bring the unit out form flush to the window or door , these are not needed if You want a flush mount , BUT then the included screws are way too long . Thankfully I keep a collection of various screws and had what I needed.Also If Your mounting the blinds on a steel door then the included screw are worthless . Screws are cheep and I would have gladly paid extra buck or to for more screws , thus the 4 star rating

Great bargain and quality for the price

Installation requires intuitive interpretation of the instructions, they are not that user friendly if you're not handy with DIY and cannot problem solve and deduce required measurements on your own. It took several mockups to get the right widths drilled for the brackets. The cover molding was either dropped/damaged or poorly cut on one end so it doesn't line up all the way with the corner piece. The cover molding is also too heavy for the clips and sags near the surface of the door, making it look tired and not square/straight for a brand new installation. Right off the bat one pull thread broke from the upper mechanism causing the slats to sag noticeably, Fortunately after checking the mechanism I realized I could fix it, I was able to tediously MacGyver it back into place crouched over the hump of an 8' ladder.I was hopeful for a better quality build and final look but I guess it will have to do, I live in a rental so I'm not going to spend $$$ but I would like for it not to look completely cheap either.

Blinds are installed perfectly level, but when they are opened, one side sags VERY noticeably. Cheap construction. Save your money. 😉

I measured my doorway and came to conclusion which size I needed. I was nervous about the fit but but it fit perfectly. The blinds are a bit thick, but it is good if you have little kids like I do. I’m also happy that there is not a draw string which can be a risk if you have kids. You just push the blinds up or pull them down. They have a stick on the top where you can open or close them. Since the blinds are thick, they do well with keeping out light. I prefer a lighter look with it being on my front door but as I said, it was a good choice because the blinds are not easily broken like the small light blinds. It looked like it was not too hard to install but I wasn’t the one to install it. I highly recommend if you’re making a choice to get it while you have pets or kids that ruin blinds easily.
