Great Shirt, but Shrinks a Lot
I really liked this shirt when it arrived. The size ran a little large - which I expected, so I ordered a size Large and it fit perfectly and was very comfortable. I'm only giving it 3 stars because of how much it has shrunk after a single wash. The attached photos show one that was unwashed and one that was washed - both size Large. I followed the washing instructions on the tag and now it's about an inch shorter, an inch narrower, and the sleeves are almost 3 inches shorter than its original size - I'm afraid to wash it again.

Broad Shoulders? This is the shirt
I have very broad shoulders with a small gut. I'm 5'11 and 215lbs. This shirt was perfect in XL for me.This shirt fits perfectly. A little baggy around the midsection, just a little. Good arm length. Very Soft. It is not what I would call a skinny fit.

Ain't for the skinny jean wearing boys.
For people who says that this fit is too big. I don't know if what they want is a fitting polo shirt or something. This ain't for the skinny jean wearing boys. This is a mans shirt. I ordered a size smaller than what I normally used and even before washing it was somewhat fitting already. Now with just one wash its half an inch shorter on my arms and the shirt is too fitting for my liking. It also don't crumple easily. Used it for 4 days on a trekking trip in Durango and held well. Without any damage even after a rugged abuse.Summary: Buy your usual shirt size. Don't buy a size smaller.

Buy grinch like-3 sizes too big
While this is a good looking shirt, a gift for my son in law, after one wash the shirt shrank so much he couldn’t even put it on.To truly understand this you have to know my daughter. She obsessed over directions and rules. Cold wash, tumble dry low heat? If the tag said it, she followed it to the letter. It’s frustrating to buy what you think is a quality product only to have it rendered unusable so quickly. I wouldn’t buy one of these unless you line dry your clothes. Welcome to the 1960’s

I like this shirt
I like this shirt! Husband thinks it's a dress shirt, but that's ok. It's well fitting and warm. He's a bit long in the arms but that is not a problem with this shirt. Didn't shrink in the wash either.

Worn 3 times and seams are coming apart
My husband loved this shirt, but after only wearing it 3 times, the seam at the cuff and sleeve has a 2 inch hole.

Fits well everywhere but the cuffs. An extra 2 cents in buttons would have earned 5 stars.
This is a well made shirt that fits just like I expected it to. I followed the laundry directions and the size is still the same as when it was new and the fabric is still nice and soft. My one gripe with this shirt is that it only has one set of buttons on the cuffs. My wrists and biceps are not the same size. My biceps would almost fit in these cuffs when buttoned, but they swallow my wrists and, in turn, my hands. I will eventually get around to sewing an extra set of buttons on the cuffs so this shirt will fit everywhere. Too bad the the factory workers couldn't have done this for me. Since I have to finish the shirt myself I won't be buying any more at this price.

What Eddie Bauer used to be like
Rarely do I take the time to write reviews, however, when a product just blows me away and pleasantly surprises me the way this shirt did, I just have to... Back in the 90's I used to collect Eddie Bauer flannel shirts, and I loved them and their quality. However, through the years, their quality has deteriorated and their shirts are just not what they used to be (while their cost has risen to near ridiculous levels). Flannel shirts are supposed to be roomy (not "modern" or "skinny") and you shouldn't have to buy 1 or 2 sizes larger just to get a classic look. Plus flannel should be thick, and warm, not thin and looking like something that won't make it past the first wash... Well this Legendary Whitetails flannel shirt addresses all those points and more than met the very highest of expectations, at a very affordable price point. The quality and fit really is reminiscent of the 90's Eddie Bauer flannels and this company has not made me a fan. Will be ordering more now.
