## Description

Arteoliva gazpacho captures the vibrant flavor of freshly made gazpacho from Andalucia. Ripe red tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, bread, sherry vinegar and fresh vegetables are combined using an old family recipe and the result is delicious! We keep a few containers in the fridge at home so that we can serve fresh gazpacho at a moment's notice. The secret to this delicious gazpacho starts with fresh vegetables and all-natural quality ingredients. They are carefully blended following a traditional recipe from the region of Cordoba. Finally the freshly made gazpacho is packaged using the high tech Tetra Pak system, preserving it at its peak freshness and ensuring that it arrives at your home just as flavorful as the day it was made. When we visited the owner, he told us the secret of their recipe. He asked his wife to give him the recipe for the gazpacho that her family had enjoyed at home for generations. His wife told him that there was no written recipe, of course! It was passed down orally from mother to daughter over the years. So he sat quietly in the kitchen with a pad of paper and watched her add each ingredient, taking notes - this many tomatoes, that much garlic - until he had recorded this treasured family recipe! Enjoy this gazpacho well chilled, sprinkled with diced cucumber, tomato or onion. Or enjoy a glassful as a refreshing drink on a hot day. The opened container will last for about 5 days in the refrigerator.

I chilled before opening, and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and texture. At the price of fresh groceries right now, it doesn’t make sense to make it at home for one person. It might be very different than the family recipe, but the flavor is as good or better and I can finish the package without wasting any. Plus, one can always add a little fresh chopped vegetables, dollop of cream or olive oil on top. I’m making a second order now.

Reminds me of the fresh gazpacho we bought at the grocery store while vacationing in Sitges. Not perfectly, because the preparation and packaging for longer storage will always have at least a slight flavor and texture change. I chilled before opening, and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and texture. At the price of fresh groceries right now, it doesn’t make sense to make it at home for one person. It might be very different than the family recipe, but the flavor is as good or better and I can finish the package without wasting any. Plus, one can always add a little fresh chopped vegetables, dollop of cream or olive oil on top. I’m making a second order now.
