This is a specialty paper that is designed to work with a special ink; sublimation ink, in order to produce the intended results. Quick Usage Guide 1. Load the heat transfer paper into the printer. 2. Design and select the image on the computer. 3. Print the image on the coated side of the transfer paper while using ‘sublimation’ ink. 4. Wait for few seconds to dry up 5. Warm up the heat press or iron at around 265-275 F degrees with medium-heavy pressure. 6. When the heat press is used, place 1-2 sheets of plain paper on the pad to prevent the damage to the pad. 7. Place the fabric and the printed transfer paper. 8. Use the heat press or iron around 25-30 seconds. ☞ How to identify the printable side - wet finger test Wet (‘almost dripping’ wet, but not really dripping) your fingertip with water, and press on one side of paper and lift the finger. If the paper sticks to fingertip, that’s the side to print on. Try same on the other side and compare the result to confirm. ⚠ It is not uncommon to still make a mistake of loading the paper wrong even after correctly identifying the printable side.
