I put this on my self. You don't need a heat gun just patience. Use lots of soap and water to move around. It will stick a little with the soap. It took me an hour and 15 min to do. It's an exact fit so if it's off on one side the sticker will hang out on rubber. Make sure it's even on glass. It will not stick together too bad if both ends touch. Use a credit card or flat plastic square to get water out or tinting wedge. After you get most of water out take a soft towel and dry and put in sun for 30 min.My only gripe is the sticker ends are jagged. This means you could catch an edge with a towell when your cleaning car. So no loose ends on towels. They should of made it an 8 th inch on sides to be smooth. I gave 4 stars due to edges. I Also am not sure about taking this into an auto car wash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Takes forever to arrive from China *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2020* I installed this myself with no problem. Bought a spray bottle. Small amount of dish soap mixed with water. Cleaned the glass roof - then sprayed a LOT of soapy water on the glass roof. Put the decal face down on the hood, peeled it apart spraying the water just at the start. Then peeled the back all the way off. Liberally sprayed the back of the decal (Flag) with the soapy water then gently flipped it on the roof like you would flip a bed sheet. If it sticks, peel it up and spray MORE water. You can spray right on top because of the tiny holes. I did have to go from side to side like 10 times to center it but it only took about 4 minutes for each piece. I used the squeegee that came with it. Plus a cloth to dab the water. HERE's THE IMPORTANT STEP: I spent like 40 minutes with a hair dryer on high slowly going back and forth using the squeegee and rag to dry it. Repeatedly squishing the edges until they stuck. Not sure if I like it but it was a Christmas present from my daughter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Quality! *by W***O on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2020* I purchased the Checkerboard 2 piece sun roof. The quality is great, and the 2 pieces fit my sunroof perfect. It looks great on my MINI! It has been on my car for a couple of weeks now, and it is holding up good with no problems. You are able to see through it. It does help with the sunlight coming through the sunroof which I have been enjoying during our summer heat wave. The graphic is cosmetically a nice feature, and functional. (helps block hot sun light) We installed the sun roof graphic at the house. Be sure to clean your sunroof well and use a very small amount of soapy water when installing. The only negative I can say is it took a long time to receive my order, but I did order during Covid which has slowed everything down.
