Manduka Journey On Road Tripper Yoga Travel Bag

material ripped before I even got to use it. I am sending it back

I bought this bag for a yoga teacher training in Bali. The bag itself is beautifully made, the manduka mat rolls up perfectly inside in its own pocket. But it's HEAVY when packed full with yoga mat and other accompaniments. The bag is too big to be carry on size on airplane, which is another reason why I bought it. A small child could easily fit inside. I returned the bag because it too heavy for me to lug around with just one strap, like a duffle bag. I think travel bags should be dark in color to hide dirt. This bag is light gray and would show every smudge. Summary: yes it is a nice bag, but depending on your usage, please consider before buying- it's NOT carry-on luggage size and it weighs a TON. I had to get a cart at airport to haul it from terminal to terminal. Luckily I missed a connecting flight and was able to repack, using a large wheelie bag instead, and not use this bag for Bali. My neck would've been killing me before I even got to the yoga teacher training. For everyday use this bag would definitely work, but for overseas travel, I say No can. If this bag had wheels I would've used it for my travels. Instead I bought a $60 oversized wheelie from Costco.

Well built bag with lots of room and storage. Everyone loves it and asks where I got it from. Another great product from Manduka.

I did not get to use this bag much in the end. It just stayed there for weeks and weeks in the trunk of my car. One day I needed one of the snow-white towels I had in there and was surprised to see that bright red of the lining of this bag had come off onto them. The fact that sheer friction can destroy the light colored items you keep inside this bag is a big problem to me.Otherwise is well made. It's very spacious inside but to walk a lot with it as a backpack might be a problem for short persons.

Great bag, ugly color... I got the heather grey and sage. The bag is totally big enough for me to travel with my black mat! Not carry on size, but neither is the Black Mat. I was able to go away for a weekend and practice, and consolidate all my gear. Super happy with it, just wish the ugly heather grey wasn't so... Something. Maybe a beige would be nice? Anyway, I'll probably get it dyed at my tailor.

Amazing quality bag, very stylish too. I've red many reviews before buying it and many said that it did not fit all the equipment, books, etc. Based on my experience you can put there whatever you want including big yoga books and binders. It is worth the price.
