Unbelievably powerful magnet. It is very sturdy and well made. Comes packed in a nice storage box. It was delivered quickly & well packaged.

This is a must for jewelery sellers. I bought one and will probably get another one. This is such a strong earth magnet, you will have no doubt if something is silver or not, or at least has silver or gold in it. Note, the only true way to know is to test the item. But, this magnet will aid in separating costume jewelry from the finer items.

I used this to stop my cat from opening a door by placing it under the door handle on a metal door. My cat was displeased, but I am victorious for now…

Strong and sturdy, love it!

I use this to quickly locate steel studs which are most commonly found in commercial building construction. It's a heck of a lot faster than relying on a less than accurate off the shelf stud finder. Trick of the trade I suppose. My only gripe is the 33lb rating for this magnet feels a little exaggerated, however my experience with this magnet is based on contact with steel studs that are only 1/8" thick or less. I found that the more substantial (thick) the metal I am attempting to make contact with, the stronger the magnetic surface connection is. I only wish they made this model in stronger ratings. The handle is an awesome feature it makes it not only easy to use, but easy to find in my tool bag. An as a bonus the magnet comes with a nice plastic cap for the magnetic head, so you can prevent damage to services and the magnet itself. I highly recommend this magnet.

Heavy duty, works as it should.

I’m an amateur online seller of collectibles and other odds and ends. I recently purchased some gold jewelry at an estate sale, and I wanted to be sure the gold wasn’t fake. One of the primary tests you can conduct with relative ease is use a magnet (such as this one), to see if it attracts the jewelry. This magnet is incredibly strong, and absolutely gets the job done. It will immediately let me know if something has any other metals that aren’t supposed to be present.
