I Love Ilia products. their lipsticks come in many lovely colors, and they glide on smoothly for an attractive finish! They do not cake or make your lips chapped! The ingredients are natural, free of harmful chemicals! My go-to lipstick!!

I LOVE Ilia's lip products. This lipstick is creamy, rich, thick, and has staying power (if you can keep from drinking for a little while!). My lips feel nourished, but I especially appreciate the color coverage--this is something that I frequently find an issue with other lip products.

Wild Aster is the shade I bought because I'm a bright winter with cool olive undertones. It said it was a berry brown and it's actually pretty bright and I don't see any brown at all. I will post pics of both un-blotted (last pic) and blotted. Smooth, creamy texture. Lasts a few hours after blotting, the inner lip area starts to wear away first. It does bleed into my lip lines but I will try with liner to see if this prevents this!

I was hesitant to spend this much on lipstick, but I am so impressed! The pigment is so bright, I love that just one light layer brings such a bright color. I will gently tap it on my lips for a more subtle color if desired, but a little goes a long way, so I know it will last. I was also very impressed with how well it stays on. If you wait a few minutes before wiping or drinking/eating, then very little will come off whenever you do. It truly is a lipstick that lasts the day. I also love the clean ingredients, which means I am worry-free about any toxins, especially with young kids around. I've had so many compliments when wearing it too (the warm undertones make it a great red for an Autumn like me). Highly recommend this brand, I will surely be splurging on ILIA for this color and many more!

I just can't wear red lipstick. I'd love to but none ever worked for me. My skintone is pretty neutral with a bit of warmth and true reds, as well as tomato/orange reds, look awful on me. I feel I look like a little kid that broke into mommy's makeup bag and went to town. Then I found Clinique Buttershine lipstick in Apple Brandy. My perfect red! Even though it may not show up as a red on cooler or much warmer complexions, it looked great on me and was my evening or special occasion go to red lipstick. Then they discontinued it. Years ago. I have one half-used tube left that I use sparingly. It tastes bitter so I know it's way past it's expiration date but it's my only red. Youtubers, Color Class, suggested ILIA Rosewood, not specifically as a dupe but as a good red for my coloring. However, I think it's as close to the Buttershine Apple Brandy as I can get. The color on the left half of my lips is Apple Brandy and the color on the right half is ILIA Rosewood. The Apple Brandy is shinier as it's name implies but I feel I can always add some clear gloss to the Rosewood if need be. After wearing for a few hours the ILIA has much more staying power. But I'll give the Apple Brandy a break since it is a million years old, lol. Anyone who used to be a fan of the Apple Brandy shade in Clinique may want to give ILIA Rosewood a try as it may work for you too. It's a beautiful color and has not been drying to my lips.

I like the feel of this lipstick but the color wasn’t as expected. I will definitely look into buying a different color to see if would be a better match as the lipstick itself seemed great!

These lipsticks are HIGHLY pigmented. I've made a color chart over white paper in morning daylight, as the colors the company shows are very misleading. I really like this brand, and it has a pretty good staying power, especially when liner is used in tandem. Note: Rosewood is my go-to for Autumn coloring. Marsala is a close second. Wild Rose is a good Spring palate color. Cinnabar is very orange. (I bought the Amberlight to tone Cinnabar down, but it was very light, so it didn't help, and only made it brighter, like a melon color). On lips, the colors are lighter and brighter than you'd think!

Nothing like the clinique lipstick I had from boots rosette disappointing.

Amberlight is a lovely neutral nude with high colour payoff. The lipstick glides on smoothly and feels moisturising, then is starts to dry down a bit which I like as then the colour stays longer. I was originally concerned the colour would be too light and was me out as can happen iwth a lot of nudes on me, but it wasn't.

Love how it compliments me I wish it is more lasting nonetheless great color and safe for pregnancy

Is NOT Wild Rose, it's Amberlight - I thought I was ordering the now discontinued item, which is Wild Rose, if I knew this was the Amberlight shade I could have just gotten that from the shop, jeez.
