Well designed, a fun variety with the velvet pages and the markers store with it. A hit with my girls and a good birthday gift too.

We bought these for our elementary school kids to keep them busy on a road trip. Worked great! Intricate pictures with many spaces for them to color but requires some concentration and focus, so keeps them engaged. Our only problem is keeping track of the markers, despite there being a storage case integrated into the pack.

My grandchildren love these. Perfect substitute for screen time for a pre schooler

My 7 and 5 year old girls enjoyed these coloring pads. They are great for the car because the velvet helps you stay in the lines even when it is a bit bumpy. My girls enjoyed the color of the markers that came with it. They were easy to use and my girls could use them independently. They also liked the patterns that were revealed as they colored. There was plenty of ink in the markers to color all the pictures.

These are cute and my kids seem excited to try them. BUT pay close attention to the pictures and description so your not frustrated like me. You only get 1 color by #, my fault on not paying close enough attention. Also they should take unicorns out of the description bc you get a total of 1 out of all the pictures. Also puppies bc the book is full of all kinds of animal and yes puppies too, although will say you do get a duplicate of the same puppy in the color by number (two pages of the same exact pup). With the description of what each book was thought could give one to each my children and i could sit down with them with the other. But since each has a wider variety of whats in each book guess we will all be taking turns and again if i would of just zoomed in on the photo i would of better seen what each book was which is what i got. My kids are excited to sit down and do them so will only knock one star for that and see how it goes. At least the velvet ones have a "reveal a pattern as you color" this may work out better with my 4 yr old who can color as he wishes, i was just excited bc he has been working hard on the color by # on abc mouse so was looking forward to reinforcing that in a real book instead of a computer....

These spiral bound books by Melissa and Doug are great! I love coloring them as much as my children do! This particular set is a great value, as individually these products are about $5 each. The quality is so much better than some other brands I've tried. The velvet does not come off and the markers last for the whole book. They are easily kept in the snap holder built into the cover, and the pages are perforated so they can be easily removed. I highly recommend these for coloring at home or on the go. My only issue is that I wish they would make more of these in different patterns.

This three pack is a perfect gift!

The grandkids never get tired of playing with these reusable paint with water books. You can get cheap dollar store ones, but they don’t last like these Melissa and Doug ones.
