Brands B. Bulgaricus and D. Ladner have been a quality dairy company for over a century. The company began in 1891 in Germany, when a farmer's wife had a hard time finding a way to preserve her homemade yogurt. The farmers found a way to freeze the yogurt and create a commercial product for mass distribution. In 1898, the company moved to Austria-Hungary, where they began producing dairy products for their own company. In 1912, they opened a factory in France and by 1914 they were selling yogurt and cheeses in Russia and Turkey with the slogan "Bacillus Bulgaricus for health." Bacillus Bulgaricus is a worldwide company with over 70 years of experience in the dairy industry. They produce cheeses such as Greenlandic Blue Cheese, Wensleydale, Gouda, Edam, Brie de Meaux, Gorgonzola and Cheddar. They also produce eggs such as Whole Egg Yolk Yolkless Egg Whites and they make yogurt including Greek Style Yogurt with Honey & Almonds and Chunky Chocolate Yogurt with Dark Chocolate Chips.
